Sell Diamond Tel Aviv

Your questions

About selling diamonds and jewelry in Tel Aviv

Before the appraisal

How much does an estimate cost?

Estimates are free, whether remote (photos) or in our Tel Aviv bureau, with zero obligation.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes — we receive by appointment only, to preserve confidentiality and give our expert the time needed.

How many pieces can I bring?

As many as you wish. For a parure or important batch, let us know so we book a longer slot.

What to bring on the day?

A valid ID, and (if available) the original certificate, invoice, box and any related document.

Diamonds

From what size do you buy a diamond?

From 0.30 carat for a standalone diamond. Below that, the diamond is valued as part of a piece of jewellery.

Is a GIA certificate needed?

No — but a GIA/HRD/IGI certificate accelerates the transaction and often improves the price.

My diamond is lab-grown (LGD), can I sell it?

Yes, at a noticeably lower price than natural diamonds. We always distinguish the two.

What if the diamond is damaged?

Chips, deep scratches or fractures reduce value. Our expert appraises the stone as-is or assesses the cost of a recut.

Jewelry & gold

What gold price do you apply?

The daily LBMA rate, refreshed every morning, with a transparent professional margin.

Do you buy dental gold?

Yes — crowns, bridges, dental alloys. Systematic purity test.

Broken or unhallmarked, still valuable?

Yes. Broken jewellery keeps its metal and stone value. Without hallmark we test purity with acid or XRF.

Difference vs. a pawn shop?

A pawn shop pays the metal weight. A diamond dealer adds value for stones, signature, and period — often a much higher price.

Signed jewelry

Do you buy pieces without the box?

Yes, at a slightly lower price. Box, papers and original case can add up to +20%.

How do you authenticate a signed piece?

Hallmarks, signature engraving, serial number, build quality, finish typical of the Maison. We consult a peer when uncertain.

Which Maisons are most sought-after?

Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Chopard, Tiffany, Boucheron, Chaumet, Messika, Fred — especially their iconic collections.

Payment & legality

When am I paid?

The same day as acceptance, via bank transfer. A signed cession contract is provided.

Is cash payment possible?

No. Buying precious metals from professionals requires bank-transferred payment. Cash is not permitted.

Do I need to declare the sale?

In most cases, occasional sales of personal jewellery by private individuals are not taxable. We provide all documentation.

Confidentiality?

Meetings are private. Your data is used only for the transaction and is not shared.
